SOLAR ANTIGO CHARME COIMBRA

Completely renovated house inserted in the historic center and heritage of humanity.

50 meters from the University, 150 meters from the Machado Castro Museum, 100 meters from the municipal market, 80 meters from the New Cathedral. The building is fully equipped with all appliances (stove, oven, hob, washing machine, etc.).

All rooms and the kitchen have air conditioning. It also has a sofa bed where it can accommodate two more people.

A well decorated house that makes us revive modern knowledge of academic culture. Enjoy all these amenities.

The accommodation is located in the street "Couraça dos Apóstolos" nº 66, right in the heart of the academy.

Great location, excellent service, adventurous decor.

Loved the quirky decorations, welcome drink and cake was a nice surprise. Fullsome breakfast. Note narrow spiral staircase.

This place is basically a hotel. It is very close to the university. The listing is a little misleading as it is only one room. There is a toilet stall but no privacy for the shower or tub. This is meant for a couple on a romantic getaway, not right for families or friends. There is no parking except on a narrow road which is difficult to navigate. The university students were loud all night although I think that was just our unfortunate timing. There is no communication from the host prior to arriving so don’t expect that either.

Stunning place!

Per my kids "I feel like a queen with all this gold and fancy furniture surrounding us!". The place its stunning, the beds super comfortable!!! The lady who greeted us brought us champagne, chocolate cake and juice for the kids. She also offered to make dinner reservations for us, she was soooo accommodating and nice! Huge thumbs up!!!

Worst VRBO EXPERIENCE EVER

The owner refused to respond. We communicated via the VRBO app and the owner failed to reply. After 2 weeks we tried again and no response even though check in was supposed to be the next day. We reached out to VRBO and they were unable to reach the host. Finally on the day of the reservation with no response and real concern about whether we would have a place to stay we booked hotel rooms. Later that day we received a message the reservation was valid but no check in information or even the address. We replied that we had made alternative plans because of their silence. Again no response from the host. We are contesting the charges with.VRBO Stay away. Please note we were required to provide information on cleanliness, location and a few other pieces of information to submit this review. We never saw the property so please ignore those ratings.

Spiral staircase; superb setting

We enjoyed our stay in Coimbra very much. The place was very clean, the location was great and the staff was helpful. She made a good dinner suggestion and had a fabulous meal at Sete. We enjoyed our time here. We visited the Library as well.

Super appart rococo en plein centre

En plein centre de la vieille ville, mais dans une rue calme. Appartement de style rococo très sympa avec un parfait confort moderne. Nous avons beaucoup aimé.
