We booked this place for our family trip to Yellowstone. We knew it was a little ways from the main attractions in Yellowstone, but it’s in the mountains and that’s what we were looking for!. We had planned to spend two days exploring Yellowstone and three days around the cabin area. The night we arrived Yellowstone flooded and was shut down for the entire week we were there. We spent the next 4 days exploring Cody (70 min away), Lilly lake (10 min away), bear tooth pass, chief Joseph highway and other trails around the cabin. If you are looking to be in a secluded location, this is a great place. Our family truly enjoyed our time.
They hosts were exceptional. Their communication was timely and it was evident they wanted us to enjoy our time as much as possible when dealing with the flooding. They went above and beyond by providing a list of alternative things to do-even if it meant us checking out early. We are so glad we stayed, because there was lots to do in the area. They had someone check on us to make sure things were alright and were very accommodating of any needs we had.
This will go down as our most memorable family vacation, not to mention the one I feel we will cherish the most due to the quality family time we spent hanging together in the cabin.
Thanks for being such great hosts!
