「Nicole, the only staff member, was wonderful. A very sweet woman who served a great breakfast and made up the room perfectly.. The bed was very comfortable. However, there was no one else there to offer advice or tips about being in Savannah. It was our first time and we could have used someone there. Other guest houses for that price have a concierge. The bathroom definitely needs an update – – the sink did not drain well nor did the toilet flush properly. And the shower was from the 19th...

「The Inn consists of two historic homes from the late 1800s combined into one building by a connecting staircase and hallway. We stayed in 304 with a small balcony overlooking the park and church steps (a very nice view). Another room below us (I believe 204) also had a balcony. It was slightly bigger and had better shade. 「The staff were extremely helpful, kind, genuine and processional. The linens and my bed were sooooo comfortable. Definitely highly recommend. Oh, don’t forget to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee on the front porch. Very relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend the Spencer house. ❤️」

「Really a lovely place with superb breakfast, over the top friendly, helpful host and wonderful location. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it.」

「This is a delightful place to stay in Darien. Just one look from the back porch tells it all. It has a beautiful view of the marsh and the river in the distance. The hosts are lovely and provided a delicious breakfast. We would love to stay there again. Ask for a room on the ground floor if you don't want to use stairs.」

「Very private and convenient.」

「The room was fine. Built in 1904 so it is what you would suspect. Pool was full of leaves. The caretaker greeted us and told us she would prepare breakfast (frittatas etc) for us and we would eat around 8:30am-9:00am. We were downstairs around 8:30 and no sight of anyone. Two other couples came down and we waited until 9:45am. There was no “we are working on it or anything”. Actually no noise from the kitchen at all. All three couples left looking for breakfast. You can’t call it a bed and...
