"This is a charming property. The main building is very modern, but comfortable, with lovely decor and great beds. The exterior rooms in the older part of the property are classically exposed stone walls and wooden beams, rely on single wall heaters, and also have very comfy beds. Our family had a fantastic experience, though did move from an exterior room with terrace to an interior room with no terrace to be warmer. (It was December and literally freezing outside!) we found the entire staff to be warm and accommodating, and loved the dinner menu. Breakfast wasn’t quite worth it to us, but that is personal preference based on having other outstanding breakfasts in France. Can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough!"

"What an exceptional stay! It was perfect! Authentically French! Richard and Sophie have updated this chateau to a warm, cozy and inviting accommodation, paying attention to every detail. From the beautiful landscape and the history of the home to the home grown gardens to the charming pets, large and small, it just does not get any better. Richard is the perfect host from a exquisite French breakfast every morning, then helping us to plan our day and generously making the perfect dinner reservations at a variety of local bistros and restaurants that they frequent themselves, he was so generous with his hospitality and vivacious enthusiasm everyday!! We stayed for 4 nights and our entire stay was authentic in every way. The accommodations were very clean, comfortable, charming and cozy. We hope to return someday soon!! Thank you Richard for truly making our visit to the Loire better than we could have ever expected! A bientôt! We love Colivault!"

"Wonderful relaxing stay in Cellettes. Florence and Abdel have been superb hosts. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable, with fresh linen weekly. The lounge has a wide screen TV and comfy sofas so we enjoyed several movie nights. We loved feeding the chickens and goats and the boys really enjoyed collecting eggs. There’s lots of space in the garden and we all enjoyed a game of pétanque. The swimming pool is great and is heated which meant we even swam in the rain. Overall it was the perfect family retreat for an idyllic stay in the Loire. "
