"We just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at The Resident, Liverpool. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous; our room was lovely, and the kitchenette was a fantastic, thoughtful touch. ​On our first night, we noticed some noise from the local nightlife. Since we’d forgotten to pack earplugs, we asked reception if they had any on our way to breakfast. Not only did they provide them free of charge, but by the time we sat down for breakfast, I had an email from the manager offering to move us to a quieter room. We hadn't even asked for a move, so this proactive service was a brilliant surprise! They even handled the transfer of our belongings while we were out exploring. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We won’t hesitate to return and are already looking forward to trying other Resident locations."

"The two men working on reception late at night when we checked in were excellent. Rooms clean, good bathroom but sofa-bed was terrible. Breakfast was fine with a good selection. Great bonus that our car parking was validated so no charge for my husband coming to collect us. Would definitely use again."

"Breakfast poor for the money. Eggs Benedict was a sandwich. Eggs cheap quality with light yokes. Coffee stale as standing too long so not drinkable. It was bitter. No bathmat Need hook behind the door as lack of hanging space."
