"There were bugs in the room, the toilet handle was loose, the door was not even and you could see daylight underneath the door way. Breakfast the next morning was 2 bananas, batter for waffles was not enough for 2 waffles, orange juice machine was broken, pitcher with apple juice sucked, no yogurt, no toast, no eggs, bacon I told owner about the roach, broken handle- no reaction, asked if that was all for breakfast, said “that’s it”. I wish I could have gotten my $ back. Never again will we stay at a Super 8 or any property that is run by a foreigner. They are cheap ass business owners who are only in business for the money and not customer service. They only do the bare minimum."

"The hotel was new and had a fresh smell. The room was clean and well stocked. The king size bed was very comfortable and the A/C cooled the room nicely. The parking lot was almost full and due to the large amount of guests, the entry was quite dirty yet the attendant who had access to a broom didn’t seem concerned about the negative appearance this gave to the hotel. Upon arrival I used the luggage cart in the lobby and noticed that the top had been installed upside down so the portion for hanging clothes wasn’t accessible and the entire top was loose and rattled a lot. When I arrived on my floor, and entered the main hallway, I saw that the exit sign and its emergency light were hanging from the ceiling by the wires. When I returned the luggage cart to the lobby, I asked the attendant about the cart and the Exit sign and emergency light that were hanging by the wires. He said due to the low height of the ceiling in the hall, the luggage cart struck the sign and broke it loose from the ceiling but they hadn’t taken the time to fix either the cart or the exit sign. There were also 2 extra long boxes that had been delivered near the lobby entrance and also did not make a good first impression."

"Perfect! What an easy and comfortable stay!The location is rural, but it is very very easy to find - even with our after-dark arrival. The vibe was fun and calm and comfortable. Great location for visiting La Grange and Smithville. Wish we could’ve stayed longer - maybe next time!"

"My adult daughters and I came for a mother/daughter spa weekend. We were disappointed in the food and the noise. The rooms are not sound proof. Lots of crying kids. The first day we ordered food from the pool area and my adult daughter was throwing up and had diarrhea in the night. Every meal we had was mediocre. Our breakfast tacos had raw bacon in them. However, room service was great. Also, my daughters had a good spa experience but my massage therapist had the light on and kept talking. It was supposed to be a relaxing massage but I felt like I was in physical therapy and it hurt. She told me my shoulders were uneven. I felt like for the $700 a night price and $800 for 3 massages it should have been a better experience."

"Grass was very overgrown and you have to walk through it to get to your tent. No walkway..just mud and tall grass. Animal droppings in the tent. AC wouldn’t come on at first but maintenance man did get it fixed. He states that the AC is supposed to be turned on before we arrive but the girl up front failed to do so. Laid in bed to rest and wait for the tent to cool down. Scorpion crawls on my pillow only 3 inches from me. Had booked a 2 night stay but realized there was no way we could sleep there and left. Girl up front said she would try and get us a refund of which I never received. Never received a phone call or email. I have been tent camping many times in my life and thought I would really enjoy a safari tent but since their tents aren’t sealed at all it isn’t safe. Would not recommend at all."
