Please note that this is a classic Chicago walk-up. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (two flights of stairs; no elevator). We find our guests love the 3rd floor because it offers the best natural light, quiet views of King Drive, and ensures no one is living above you!

The apartment was very clean, easy to check in, then very convenient to the bus route. Host was incredibly sweet and very responsive to messages. She even brought us a local favorite treat on our third day.

Stayed here for a work event at the convention center nearby, which was a very convenient location! Communication was amazing with the host and they were so helpful! The difficulty was the stairs, but they were helpful with allowing us to store luggage downstairs as needed. Overall super happy to stay at this location ! Highly recommend!

I reached out to the host with my concerns but did not receive any feedback. My guest and I end up leaving a day early due to the condition of the home. There was no hot water in the entire unit and the host didn’t reach out trying to compensate or even accommodate us in a better way. There was food and pet hair every where throughout the home. Beds were very uncomfortable, I couldn’t even sleep. Closet door broken, mold on the shower curtains, no working bathroom lights , there was food in the fridge from previous stays which is very disgusting. I showed pictures to the host and still no response. I didn’t enjoy my trip or my stay at this home. Only good thing was parking. Also The 3 flights of steps should be the first thing you mention when you’re trying to advertise a home. If i seen that I would have never booked. I have a bad back and knee, this was very difficult for me to use the stairs.

We enjoyed our stay. Located on the third floor of the townhome, the 3 bed 2 bath apartment was exactly what we needed for our group trip. The in-unit washer dryer was a huge plus. The host was so nice & made herself available to us for whatever we may have needed!

I don’t recall the mentioning of 3 flights of stairs in the description but I maybe wrong because there’s no way I would’ve booked this Apt. for my family to stay. Needless to say, due to the stairs some chose a nearby hotel instead but those that stayed were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness throughout. My wife mentioned as soon as she placed my son down to crawl he took off only to noticed the amount of dirt his clothes took with him so she immediately knew more followed. The kitchen (stove was full of old grease), bathroom, & flooring throughout could’ve used a deep cleaning but as a courtesy to our health and the guests that booked afterwards my family made sure it was left in better condition than they discovered simply because we’re good people so you’re welcome! The mattresses need serious upgrading, maybe invest in some padded mattress toppers as a temporary means before replacing all of them because every one of my family members including my 8mos. old slept more than 12 hrs. upon their return because their body was so restless. Only 1 TV is just tortured especially during cold days and nights but I guess that’s a personal choice that’s working for you. I almost forgot, they also mentioned they ran out of hot water so that sucked but they made due by boiling water seeing how an infant was present.

The listing for this Chicago apartment was great in the sense that it has plenty of space as well as games of all types and age ranges, it also had all types of appliances as well as necessary items for cooking and cleaning up. They also had a laundry room, which was great for those who may have needed to clean something real quick although we had some issues with the heating at first it got resolved with the host. I would overall recommended for those who are new to Chicago and would like to explore. They were very flexible with time as well as we were driving from New York City to Chicago and the place was ready for us to go in as soon as we arrived.

Host communication!

My stay was good. The place was listed correctly and was very accomadating for 2 adults and 4 girls. The added bonus was the working record player. Listening to Michael Jackson as we got ready for the day! The downside was taking out the trash. That part was a little tricky. But overall my stay was good. I liked the location and the host was easy to contact and stayed in communication with me!

The location was a great base of operations for our Spring Break visit. The owner communicated with us, and the check in/out process was simple. The wi-fi was a bit slow, but I wasn't there to game or stream video, so I don't count that as a real negative. The rooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. The stairs were narrow as noted in other reviews, but they weren't a big problem for me or my kids.

Pretty Nice but minor flaws

Almost a perfect stay. Just a few issues that might be resolved by the time next guests arrive. There was construction going on which caused us to lose access to water for a short while, and some dust and debris on stairs from drywall installation. We saw a little uninvited guest (baby roach) but just that tiny one made a visit. Lastly, rear bedroom temperature was not the same as the other rooms. So the person in that room wasn’t as comfy. The neighborhood was great and walkable to stores and other sites.

Perfect location for McCormick Place trade show

The proximity to McCormick Place and grocery stores was perfect for our first time exhibiting. The convenient, free on-street parking made coming & going a breeze. Samanta was very kind and helpful; giving restaurant suggestions for the area. It was also fantastic to receive a text response saying we didn't need to take out trash or strip beds because, "You are our guests". Our trip went better than I could have ever expected in part due to this convenient, reasonably priced property.

Convenient location, roomy

Everything was very clean, entire unit was very spacious and the hosts were great! Located a short 10 min drive from Millenium park, soldier stadium, etc. Neighborhood had some renovations going on but was quiet with easy parking. Would book again!!!
