「This small stylish apartment is almost unbeatably located and is comfortably appointed. We would have rated it 5 stars overall except for some mildly irritating features such as the bathroom lights operating on a movement detector switch. No one enjoys the lights going off while you’re having a shower at night. The hand basin was also too small. Storage in the kitchenette was also somewhat chaotic. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and these were minor matters.」

「Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. 」

「Very well maintained property with all the amenities. There are a couple of flights which wouldn’t work otherwise the Perfect stay with family.」

「It says in the information that essentials are provided yet there is no hand soap to be found in the property, no tea towel or way of drying the pots that were told to wash and no hand towels. All things that would be classed as pretty essential in a self catering property. Now onto the other things. The pans in the cupboard are grim and look like they were last used a month ago and never washed. The bathroom is in desperate need of a good scrub, the tile grout is grim, the shower door is grim,...

「Really handy location but apartment wasn’t properly cleaned. Living room was shabby and couldn’t comfortably accommodate 4 people. The sofa was an uncomfortable sofa bed. There were 3 wine glasses for 4 people and 3 forks for food which was baffling. In winter the hall and kitchen will be cold. Took a few days to get an answer about issues following check out. 」

「No place to hang coat, could do with some cost hangers in the hallway. Mattresses worn, very uncomfortable, a mattress protector could possibly help」
