「We loved that the property was close to town but very quiet. There’s a wonderful view of the mountains from the second floor wrap around porch. It’s a quaint establishment with some history. We enjoyed two outstanding breakfasts. Paul is a gracious, friendly and knowledgeable host. 」

「We loved our stay in Hotel Sylva. It's in a great location. You can walk to several restaurants. It's also a clean hotel with comfortable beds. The only downside is that it's downtown and you get some vehicle noise. 」

「We stayed here for a few days and it was a great experience. The property was well kept inside and out. Our room was clean and stocked with the basics. The staff was always friendly. Breakfast was simple but perfect for an early morning. The waffle maker is awesome. We had the pool to ourselves and it backs onto beautiful tall trees that started to turn fall colours. The location is right next to the main road an a gas station for quick drinks and snacks if needed. 」

「I had a King room with a nice little porch looking out over the river. For my purposes, this location is perfect - quiet and relatively natural environment that is still roadside and able to get to a large number of hiking trails and towns all within 15 minutes. The front desk was warm and welcoming - the guy there is chill in a friendly way. 」
