Château de Chamirey

Breakfast the usual standard offering cold meats cheese cereals etc Hotel is in process of fitting rooms with A/C and work starts everyday at 6a.m so banging, drilling doors opening / shutting vehicles coming/going - on top of that major roadworks immediately outside hotel combined with the heatwave - this was not a restful stay for me. Staff members generally very helpful and certainly helped me with ordering some vehicle psrts over the phone as my french is not very good.

We booked four rooms. In one of the rooms, the AC did not work. We asked to change, and we got another room. Apart from that, the rooms were clean. They had a little bit of a funky smell, but generally they were okay. Breakfast was very good.

The place was quiet and wonderful for a family stay. The staff were kind, welcoming, and very understanding, which made our experience even more enjoyable. A couple of things to keep in mind: the apartment does not have air conditioning, and there are not many dining options nearby. We also booked a two-bedroom apartment, and unfortunately, the Wi-Fi did not work consistently outside the apartment. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the hospitality.
