It was certainly an experience. First the negative. There were many things that didn’t work with the property. The shower handle was broken when we got there and was replaced by a needle nosed plier, the laundry machine was broken, there was not much hot water (I didn’t get any but some in the party did) and the air conditioner was asked to be left on 75. Additionally, a maintenance crew showed up unannounced to put some potted plants on the front porch which they then had to attach with plastic cords because the porch was sloped. The pictures online really don’t do justice to how small this place is. If you’re looking for a fancy place to stay, this isn’t for you.
Now the positive. The property manager could not have been more prompt and respectful. She responded to all my questions/ needs in a professional and respectful manner. The location of this house is absolutely unbeatable. Right next to great bars and restaurants. It was also very affordable and had a great living room area with a new tv that has built in Netflix, prime video, and easy hookups for a Nintendo switch.
Overall, we had a great time in Charleston. The property was fine, perfectly ok for a long weekend with friends who weren’t in the house that much, however if you’re looking to really hang out at the listing - there are certain things that weren’t working that just should have been.
Overall i would give this house an 82/100
