"The location of the accommodation is superb. 2 min away from ski resort, and 4 min away from a mart. The place is well-organized and decorated. Amenity for kids was another big plus. i.e. Genga, lego, sink toy, etc. Kitchin is also very well equipped. electric stove, coffee brewer, many dishes, pots, and frying pans. the kitchen is practical. One minor downside is that the kitchen knife is too dull to the point that it is not usable for cutting meat. "

"When I got there I was given a different unit than described. It would not work for my situation. The desk corrected it by giving me another unit. That did not work as well. Guest services got involved and upgraded our reservation to larger condo and it was perfect. I highly suggest always checking out your condo as soon as it’s available. Fortunately we were able to do all this switching between three units around noon instead of after 4 pm. The normal check in time."

"Its a very unique and historic property. Loved being top of the mountain and enjoying the sunsets. It is also conveniently located for so many of the wonderful attractions in the Laurel Highlands area. It's well maintained, but old. Service was good. Updating the technology and AV would be welcome. The restaurant was very nice and a good value. It's one of the only good hotels in the Ohiopyle area, so we may come back. We love this area."

"The experience, lodge and facilities could not have been more perfect. The large kitchen area allows for family interactions while snacking or preparing meals. The dining area is great for eating or playing cards and board games. We had several young children with us who loved the game and tv rooms. Beds are very comfortable. Spoke to quickly-responsive owner about 2nd floor bedroom lighting, ovens, internet/wifi, and MBR baseboard heat metal frame. Hopefully most/all fixed before next guest. Gas for grill was low, but owner quick to get it filled. Beautiful stone deck w view. Peaceful pond setting with rustic benches. Lovely retreat."
