"Lovely hotel with amazing buffet breakfast. Parking available with assigned spot in garage for 10€/day. (Street parking available for free… if you can find it.) On site restaurant Cayote is ok, winding there for dinner one night after original plans fell through. It’s well reviewed and prices reasonable, but food a bit bland. Despite being Saturday night, few tables in use."

"Positives: Friendly front desk staff, a large clean room (#408), comfortable bed, and effective air conditioning. The hotel is centrally located for shops, restaurants, and tram stops. With the windows closed, the fourth-floor room was generally quiet. Negatives: The shower area in room 408 has a large clear glass window, offering no privacy. We had to cover it with towels. The rooftop terrace bar is a separate business with its own entrance, which may make hotel photos appear misleading. On Saturday evening there was loud music from the terrace, although it was not audible in our fourth-floor room; higher floors may be affected more. Street noise is to be expected due to the central location and nearby tram lines. During Carnival, noise increased significantly, with a nearby bar playing loud music until 4am on our final night. With windows open, early-morning noise from people outside and cigarette smoke from staff smoking below was also noticeable. Night-time refuse collection added further disturbance. Overall: The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very well located, but we would not stay again. Rooms do not have balconies, and the rooftop bar is not part of the hotel. While most nights were reasonably quiet (earplugs recommended), noise can be significant during busy periods such as Carnival. We did not use the hotel breakfast, so cannot comment on dining. "PositivesIt was cleanIssues1. The accommodation was described as bed and breakfast. No breakfast was provided and when asked no reply was forthcoming so we sorted our selves out. It is not acceptable to advertise as bed and breakfast and then not provide it. 2. Our room was very dark for 2 reasons. The first was that it had no eternal windows. The window looked through into the cleaners store area so our view was of vacuum cleaners, spare crockery and other supplies. Not what a guest should expect to see. The second was that the bulb in our room light blew. We contacted the host who asked us to check the fuse box which we couldn’t find. We were then asked to take the light apart and identify the bulb type. We didn’t think this was appropriate sent the host a photo of the unit. This was on Monday. When we left on the Saturday the light was still not functioning. This is not acceptable3. When we arrived we found that only one of the three rings on the hob was working Other guests confirmed it had happened the previous week. It wasn’t replaced until Thursday. This was not acceptable as we wanted to self cater. In addition most of the utensils were past their best with broken handles on kitchen knives, no towels to dry the washing up etc. Overall we we glad that there was only one other couple staying for most of the week as 2 bathroooms for 10 adults at full capacity would be insufficient and the kitchen would be mayhemThe whole place whilst clean felt very tired "
