"Shady Hollow deserves an easy 5 star rating. My husband and I stayed with our 5 children aged 1-8, and it was perfect. We all enjoyed the beach, beautiful lake view, swimming, paddle boards, fishing, pedal boat and kayaks, which was included in the cost. The lake was shallow enough for our kids to play safely and there were plenty of toys on the beach for them to use and build sand castles. "This beach villa is nicely decorated and updated. The beds are comfortable and the owners thought of everything we might need! Communication was fast and helpful. The unit has a nice central location within the resort. The only reason that I didn't give all 5 star rating was because of the air conditioning set up in the two 'kid' bedrooms and the resort itself could use some repairs and upkeep. Overall, a great stay and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun family vacation."

"Had a wonderful stay here for a weekend babymoon with my wife before the birth of our son. Property manager was easy to get a hold of and even allowed us to check in early and have a later check out which was greatly appreciated!"

"We loved the paddleboards, kayaks, floating dock, and pontoon. So many fun things to do on the lake. The fishing was good. It was fun to see the turtles too. The deck off our cabin was wonderful to sit on anytime of day, the spaciousness of our cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids all had their own room. The full kitchen made it super easy to make our own meals. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable indoor chairs to sit on, maybe updated beds and bedding, curtains. The...

"We couldn’t check in until four in the afternoon and had to be out by 10 in the morning on Sunday, and so even if you have two nights you feel as if you only had one day. The price was rather high for just one full day…. And two nights . It wasn’t on the lake but It was a clean and a decent rental unit."

"This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy and convenient which doesn’t always happen with motels which have been updated.
