「The house was clean, it was in a great spot not far from town. The beds were ok, the pillows were hard as a rock so neither of us got good sleep. The closet light in one of the rooms kept coming on. I had to put pillows on the floor to cover up the light. Then in the other room. You could see the closet light on from the bottom of the floor. The house temp couldn’t be lower than 72 which was terrible because they had floor fans which we had to use. 」

「Spending our 27th anniversary up on the rooftop gazing at the cosmos was the perfect time and place, and made so much more complete by the caring, thoughtful preparation our hosts made for us. I like to cook, so usually pick places with a full kitchen or at least a kitchenette with a hot plate, so I always bring essentials like my spices, oils, knives, foil, plastic wrap, etc. I left all of those things in my bag untouched because Rhonda and Carl thought of nearly everything!
