Step onto the back porch and breathe in the countryside air and quietness, walk to the cliff overlooking Sorrel Creek, a dry creek on the property or take the 15 minute walk from the backyard to Canyon Lake. Located between Austin and San Antonio and a few minutes from Wimberley, New Braunfels and Gruene.
The space
This property features 1 bedroom and a loft with an open concept tiny house. This is the perfect getaway for small families, small group of friends or for a romantic retreat.
Enjoy the beautiful 3-acre wooded property, with a dry creek, peaceful views and adjacent to the Corps of Engineers land that surrounds Canyon Lake so there is plenty of room to explore the wildlife. It is very likely that you will see many deer wandering freely by the cabin. There is are many spot for birdwatching and stargazing around the property so bring your telescopes and binoculars. Come recharge your mind and spirit while enjoying the Hill Country’s peace and quiet.

We are happy to host your fur baby, but please be aware that the backyard is not fenced in. For those requesting to bring along a pet, we ask that you approve that with the host first and there will be a pet cleaning fee.

Any items left behind can be shipped to the guest at their expense.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE OUTDOOR FIREPLACE: Comal County is currently under a burn ban so use of the outdoor fireplace is currently PROHIBITED. We have left a propane firepit tor you to use instead. We will update this once the burn ban has been lifted.

There are areas on the land surrounding the dry creek that are high and can be dangerous, adult supervision required. LIFE JACKET NEED TO BE WORN DURING ANY WATER ACTIVITY.
Guest access
Guest will have access to all 3 acres and adjacent Corps of Engineers Land during your stay. There is only a small closet with supplies at the top of the stairs that will not be accessible.
Other things to note
The property is not fenced, to prevent you accidentally wondering to the neighbor's land, please read welcome instructions once you get to the property.
Pets:
We welcome pets, we just ask for a few things:
-Do not leave unattended, fur babies can get anxious in strange environments and act unpredictably.
-Do not let them sleep on the beds (this is in consideration for other guest allergies and possible pet dander)
-Please clean up after your pets when they relief themselves in the yard.
-Do not bathe them in the showers or bathtub in the house.
