「My family and I were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The pictures posted are very deceiving. The downstairs rooms only have one actual door — the rest just have open walkways where you can see straight through to the other side, offering no privacy at all. The upstairs room has a barn door, but it doesn’t close securely and can easily be pushed open, which isn’t ideal if you’re all adults wanting some privacy.The stairs going down to...

「The Cottage is in a nice location back off the shared drive. Cottage smelled like a wet dish rag. I believe due to the window unit having to run all day to keep the cottage cool. The shower is very small and allows very little room to turn around or get bottles off the shower floor. No storage to put items out of your way if you are staying longer than a couple days. We liked the location and the fact we felt secluded even though we were only a couple hundred feet from the closest house.」

Messaged host about the issue, but she did not respond until the next day and gave no further tips, only repeated the instructions I was originally given. 「Everything was perfect. The hot tub was hot when we arrived, everything worked, there was no issue with check in. I loved learning about how the cabin was built. I do have a suggestion: if the owner wanted to sell the coffee cups with the cabin logo on it, i would have totally bought one. They are so cute 」
