"This hotel is very well situated - easy walking to the Cairns marina, esplanade and various top restaurants. Our marina executive room had a wonderful view of the marina and mountains beyond. Walking to the city centre is also easy. Our room was well serviced by staff who were very non intrusive. The facilities are very clean. Updating the t.v. to a smart t.v. to allow access to streaming channels would be a plus.The pool is in a lovely setting, but some form of water heating would make swimming in the pool in August more inviting. Overall though a lovely place to stay."

"Excellent staff as always and a late checkout. Rooms could do with new refrigerators. Plus as a woman in the gym on her own it would be good to either have the walking machines face the door - or have mirrored glass on the wall opposite the door so I can see what is happening behind me and who has come in. "Early checkin at 11.30 am was unexpected but much appreciated as I had a tour in the afternoon. The room was spotless with excellent quality sheets."
