"The place is hidden in Perigord, between the rivers Lot and Dordogne--which in summer is perfect to go swimming, canoeing, hiking in the area. There are culinary gems in Goujounac or Villefranche-du-PĂ©rigord--if you ask the locals. Be advised, though, that you need to travel considerable distances to get to places of interest. The place itself is kept in good condition, except for maybe a musty smell and an assorted mix of silverware and tableware, which seemed a bit thrown together."

"The property is lovely. It had everything you could possibly want including games , books, bbq along with, every conceivable kitchen utensil. The owners provided very detailed instructions as to how to get there,how to get in, how to operate the appliances. It was brilliant. The property is in a gorgeous little village just a few metres along the road. We were also able to use the local campsite facilities too which was lovely."

"We stayed at Le Petit Soyc in August 2023. This is a fantastic villa. Accommodation is very comfortable. Plenty of room for 8 of us with room to spare. The layout is superb. The kitchen is big, modern and well equipped. The outdoor dining area is really good. The swimming pool, pool house and shade is also spot on. We had a fantastic stay. Temperature was over 40 degrees! Local area is peaceful and beautiful. I would definitely recommend 100%. Property owner is as fantastic as the villa!"

"My friend and I spent 3 nights at Anne's place and it was without a doubt the highlight of my two weeks in France. Anne was absolutely lovely, and the gĂźte was so charming, spacious, clean and full of character. I feel so fortunate I got a chance to visit and spend some time in this place full of character. "A beautiful hotel with a stunning view. The pool was a lovely addition and our room was comfortable and well appointed. Our only complaint was that the bedroom was open to the sitting room and was not a true separate bedroom. This was a challenge for us as we were travelling with a 14 month old and found it hard to enjoy the patio and lovely space past her bedtime. This would not be a limiting factor for many people/families staying at this property and was specific to our needs. The kitchen was very well appointed and the shower was lovely and spa like. The owner was very helpful when our baby came down with an ear infection and provided us with the contact information for a doctor. We would definitely recommend this property to others."
