「Watching the sunrise each morning from the covered patio was wonderful. It was nice to have the ocean breeze keep you cool in “the Heights”. The pool is a real plus! We enjoyed visiting with and meeting others from the New England area of the US as well as Montreal and Toronto Canada. Santiago, the caretaker, is very nice. We appreciated his emptying the trash and providing fresh linens and towels mid week,」

Listed tips: ---*extremely* glad we had a 4WD vehicle, lots of unpaved/hole- and trench-laden roads. ---Specific arrival directions were not sent until our arrival day, so access was limited while traveling; we found them after arrival. ---Montezuma itself is a very small town with a few restaurants, Mini-supers and B&B/hostels, mostly surfers and some locals; we would hesitate to drive in there after dark (which happens at around 6:00 pm)...
