Top Burnaby Hotel Reviews

River Rock Casino Resort

River Rock Casino Resort

10/10 Excellent
"I was up and on the road by 3am that day riding from Clatskanie Oregon to Langley, British Columbia, Canada. I had to cross the border and needed to make it to my appointment at 9am. After getting my bike serviced at Barnes Harley Davidson I spent the rest of the day riding up to Whistler and stopping at places in between. I looked over to see a restaurant with people siting outside on a patio or deck with two large open roll up doors adjacent to indoor seating. I pulled in and parked to go in and have some lunch, what a great find. The Sound Public House Britannia Beach, British Columbia Canada, Jennie and Clair waited on me at the bar. Fantastic establishment serving the best fish and chips I had ever feasted on..!! Also serving a verity of beers and mixed cocktails. This is supposed be a review of a hotel stay but my day that leads up to a stayover is always first. My night stay is always second because I only need to clean up and rest before my next day begins usually before the sun comes up. I splurged spending the night at this Hotel Casino. Because I checked in late I was not able to enjoy all the it had to offer so I can not review on much of anything. Check in was fast with a friendly receptionist. I made my reservation the week before. They had my request of room location and they were able to accommodate my request. Convenient pedestrian bridge to the casino located on the 4th floor that I used to walk over there and get a bite to eat at 2 30 am."

"The hotels location is literally by nothing. Expect $20 taxi ride to anything- even restaurants. They do offer airport shuttle which seats 20+ people so no wait. The front desk never did deliver my towels requested:( I ended up reusing my towels and there were only 3 in our room booked for 4 people. Also not part of radisson rewards, but choice hotels."
