「Our stay was amazing! Hosts Claire and Steve were fantastic, friendly, cooked a plentiful, scrumptious breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble! They had a wealth of local knowledge which was very handy. Our room was extremely clean, and our bed was very comfy! We were recently married and our hosts left a beautiful bottle of red wine and a card in our room which was so thoughtful:) we will definitely be staying at The Clifton on Paignton when in England next.」

「We are just coming back from a lovely long weekend there and were very well looked after, spoiled even. A lovely charming accommodation with great hosts in a walking distance to the harbour and all the main amenities. Very clean and cosy, convenient parking just outside on the street, great cooked breakfast and fantastic variety too. Totally recommend! 」

「We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early.」

The bungalow was absolutely perfect for us; well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, dog friendly, enclosed garden with fabulous views and lots of lovely walks nearby. Host was extremely welcoming and helpful. We will most certainly be returning. Thoroughly recommend.」
