This suburban neighborhood in Bruges boasts a picturesque polder landscape at Assebroekse Meersen and a charming 19th-century village center. Explore the children's farm "The Seven Towers" or visit the historic convent domain "Engelendale."

Cafe Vlissinghe, established in 1515, is the oldest cafe in Bruges. With a lovely outdoor and indoor seating area, this is the perfect place to enjoy a Belgian beer. The remote cafe is hidden in the Sint-Anna district.

A boules tournament was in full swing in the garden when we visited. Boules is similar to bocce balls where large, heavy balls are rolled to land as close to a small target as possible.

The Knights of the Golden Fleece used to meet in this cozy tavern.

Sint-Anna Quarter

While visiting Sint-Anna Quarter, you might make a stop by sights like St. George's Archers Guild and Kantcentrum.

One of my favorite views in the beautiful city Brugge. It was actually taken from the window of the hotel, so the view was nice.

Check out the breweries, historic sites, and shopping while spending some time in Sint-Gillis. Though there might not be many attractions in the neighborhood, you won't need to go far to find top spots like Choco-Story Museum or Bruges City Theater.
