"Great location, couldn't have been easier to get to all the main sights on foot. Lovely hotel, mostly very clean (except our toilet!). Friendly, helpful staff on reception. Rooms a good size, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again."

"Got an upgrade to the main hotel as it was my husbands birthday We were a small group and 3 of our rooms were upgraded Great staff Breakfast was very expensive but breakfast room manager was exceptional and bought a beautiful plate of cakes on the morning of my husbands birthday Beautiful hotel Ate in restaurant which was very good Had drinks in bar with the whole group Was a bit shocked when my sparkling water was served in a chipped glass and I exchanged it and was still charged for the water ! Did not make a fuss as did not want to spoil the evening for our party . I was treating them all to drinks. Just think there should have been a gesture Rooms could do with upgrading Poor heating and chipped paintwork Toilet so close to shower Hotel was 5 star but rooms 4 star Also at times there was a sewage smell in the bathroom Would return Used to work in hotel business so I am a bit more critical than most "
