Bait & switch on the price. Vacasa cancelled our CONFIRMED AND PAID FOR reservation for no reason, which we didn't find out until we went to check in at the front desk, despite all their texting about the booking. They said that condo was now booked by someone else and we had to book a different condo at a much higher price, at least $100/night more. (Though we never saw anyone in that first condo, which was nearby.) I tried to get the price adjusted and they stonewalled with every excuse in the book: they didn't know why it was cancelled, you need to book a different (higher priced condo), your ID didn't validate, it's illegal to adjust the price, we don't do bookings at the front desk, the manager is out today, you have to call the place you booked with not us (BUT WE BOOKED DIRECTLY WITH VACASA!!), "I don't have authority to do that," and on and on. They price the units all over the map, and the price has nothing apparent to do with the quality of the condo. The higher priced condo wasn't as nice as the lower priced one. Absolutely horrible way to treat customers. Condo itself was fine.
