「Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

「Great staff, friendly and very well informed Room was great, restaurant was excellent, bar was fantastic.」

「ソファのクッションはへたっていてダメ。運悪くエレベーターが2基とも壊れていて5階まで歩く羽目になった。食事もあまりおいしくはなかった。」

「All excellent」

「Absolutely lovely stay at The Lister Arms. Staff are amazing and the reason it's so good. They are helpful and friendly. The only very small downside is the cost. A little overpriced but otherwise beautiful. Couldn't really fault anything at all. The food was to die for.」

「Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend」

「Could do with some softer pillows but our stay was very nice and the breakfast was very good and enough choices.」

「Very clean property, great pub with a fantastic breakfast.」

「Although the building could do with a little tlc in places, our room was large, clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and bar food really good too. The bar area is fairly small and well used by locals but we did find a table both nights we were there. The biggest plus for us were the staff who are efficient and friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if in the area. It’s in a quiet area but there are plenty of walks and an ideal base for exploring other towns and sites.」

「Spacious accommodation/friendly staff/ good food.」

「We stayed for two nights and while the room could best be described as adequate, the public areas are spacious, clean and well-decorated. There’s a large car park; the food’s delicious and the staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Although the room was small and a bit dingy, we’d stay again simply because the people are so nice.」

「Lovely cosy accommodation but not in the inn itself. Well equipped but was cold on arrival, had to turn radiators on. Comfy bed and in a stunning location. Lovely pub with open fire.」

「This was our second visit to Mytton Fold and as on our previous visit we found the hotel to be excellent. It is nicely located to take advantage on the Forest of Bowland, the lakes and Yorkshire. The food options in the bar and restaurant were excellent as were the breakfast options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were of a good size and it was nice to have fresh milk in the fridge which was refreshed each day. To top it all it was very good value.」
