Sunset on Karl Lake Boundary Waters Canoe Area Shot from the shoreline at our campsite on Karl Lake. The ONLY campsite on the lake. Secluded and beautiful location surrounded by breathtaking scenery. There was a family of otters on the lake that tolerated us and a beaver would swim by each morning and slap its tail to let us know their feelings about our being in there.

Been 4 years since i last stayed there. Definitely needs improvement. Great views if your on the water. Great breakfast. Location is awesome..downtown town. Walk everywhere. Check out the brewery. No elevator. No pets I guess. Contact hotel about pet policy.

Loved staying here!! Had a beautiful view. Everything was clean and tidy. The only issue was the patio was frozen shut which is understandable, and the pillows were a little flat for my liking. Overall a great place to stay:)
