「Great room. Nicely updated and very clean. The view was spectacular! I would definitely stay here again. Outside of building could use some updating. Back yard parking area could use clean up. It’s self check in so no service or staff. There’s a number to text if you have any issues. Which we didn’t. 」

「Peaceful. You can sit on the back deck, and enjoy the view of Lake Superior over the top of cabins down closer to the lake. You can feel the lake breeze and hear the waves on the rocky shore, which only takes 1 or 2 minutes to walk to.」

「This property was comfortable and easy to get to. Nestled along the shore of Lake Superior the evenenings were delightful as we sat around our campfire with other guests. We learned we are more alike thean we are different an we are good people enjoying the North Shore.」

「Lovely accommodations in a secluded woods, perfectly suited to the culture and pristine landscape of the Border Lakes country. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed and Barbara and Ted were very gracious hosts. We truly did not want to leave! The tiny kitchen needed a little more light but worked perfectly for meals for two. 」

「While not directly on Lake Superior, we enjoyed the peacefulness of being nestled within nature just a few miles outside of Grand Marais. The location was perfect for our family of five - close proximity to town as well as many trails. The home was as described, modern, comfortable, and well kept. We would definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Grand Marais! 」

「I loved staying in this lovely, quiet, small cabin. Just a short walk from North House Folk School where I was taking class, it felt right in line with the folk atmosphere of my class. Rustic, super clean, beautifully handbuilt, relaxing bathtub, comfy bed up in loft, and the view!」

「We enjoyed our stay. Morning breakfast and coffee on the deck were great. We sat there until noon most days. This place is very clean and well stocked. King bed very comfortable. Great access to everything in the area. Only thing missing for us were comfortable chairs to sit in instead of hard futons.
Would certainly stay again.」

「Our stay at the Lighthouse was a wonderful unique experience. It had everything we needed including a full sized coffee pot! It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Located close enough to walk to most places, but still peaceful.
The hosts were also great. Hope to return soon! 」
