"Genuinely wish we could give more than 5 stars! From arrival we were very warmly welcomed by Kate and Callum, all fell in love with our little pooch Lenny! We were shown to the room and it’s a beautiful little room, spotlessly clean, warm, cozy and so comfortable with everything we needed, quality Yorkshire tea bags and Nescafé sachets. Beautifully decorated and cozy bedding! The staff were so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Had food in the room and then a meal in the restaurant! The pizza made by Georgina was incredible, home made dough that was so light and fluffy, quality toppings and lovely sauce. The 3 course Sunday dinner was beautiful too. Fabulous, local produce, home made yorkie and amazing size portions. So tasty! Compliments to the chefs. We arrived as strangers and felt like we left as friends. Massive thanks to Kate for Lennys sausages and our hugs when we left! "

"The cottage was perfect for us it had all we could need the bed was comfy and it was lovely and warm , the area is lovely and quiet and we found it easy to catch the bus to knaresborough.Local pub was warm and friendly "

"Nice property, TV reception is hopeless and has been previously noted but no improvement Location is excellent in a very nice village with an excellent pub a very short walk away which does good food Off street parking for ONE car, dog friendly but small garden not enclosed or fenced.Seems to be managed by a company as opposed to the actual owner.Overall I would recommend but don’t rely on the TV or the garden as it’s very small and not fenced if you have a pet with you, a genuine 7/10"
