"The house was beautiful and Austin from the Scottsdale office was very helpful when we encountered a problem. Just something to be aware: it has 5 bedrooms but only 3 bedrooms were in the main house. We had four people so one person had to go to the casita at night. The pool was a disappointment, because it was unusable. It was covered with leaves and was generally dirty. I was told that there was a malfunction with the equipment and someone would be out by Friday at noon. No one ever showed. With temperatures above 105 we cancelled our golf plans but expected to be able to use the pool. "

"The pool was a mess and the buildings surrounding the pool need to be torn down. They offer no early check in (even though we were told they would allow one, along with a late check out, for a fee.) Their late check out did not exist either, as we were told they normnally allow it, but all of the early check outs were already claimed for the day. So when they say 10am check out , they mean it. The cleaning crew was there promptly at 10am and no exceptions. Basically felt like a police eviction. "

The cottage is within a couple miles (round trip with a slight up hill on return) to several restaurants, but situated on top of a hill in a quiet setting with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. It is a great home base for sightseeing excursions and hiking.The cottage is more than adequate for two people and the pictures are accurate. The bed is very comfortable.David was very easy to contact and always got back to us quickly. We felt we could communicate with him for any needs that might arise.We enjoyed our stay.Ken and Kathy"
