「The room was excellent! We could walk to everything we wanted to visit in York, the kitchen had a dishwasher, combined oven and microwave, a washing machine/dryer and lots of utensils and pots and pans.
Also an excellent shower. Basically, everything we needed for our stay.
The only negatives were that it seemed impossible to turn the aircon down despite our best efforts, which meant it was too warm for a comfortable sleep and there was no onsite parking.」

「I love this place. I’m a repeated guest. It provides everything you need to cook, wash clothes and sleep well. 2 request is to get a bigger standing fan. & change frying pans regularly as it was scratched up and was smelling bad chemically. I learned later they provide a replacement once you ask. They were responsive and I was grateful but pls pls provide a big fan. It got so hot one day like 33c and I was cooking !」

「The apartment was excellent, well appointed and in a good convenient central location.
What let it down was the parking. This was 20mins walk away, but this was not made clear until after we had booked.
Also the check in procedure for the parking was difficult. It took us an hour to get this done. To be fair once we gave up trying and rang the owner he sorted it out immediately.」

「Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered.
The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds.
However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has...

「Great location close to walking area, market, tourist sights, shopping, buses. Short walk from train. Not easy to find but video from host helped for navigating getting into apartment. Some stairs even after lift to 2nd floor but only about 12.Apartment itself was in beat up condition. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms good. Clean. Host communicated well and fast. Few utensils in kitchen and what was there was very worn. Latch on one window broken so could not secure, heater not secure, looking like...
