This sculpture in Kelly Ingram Park in Birmingham, Alabama depicts a vicious dog attack during the civil rights protests in 1963. This sculpture is very effective. I got chills walking through and imagining what it just have been like. #civilrights #historymatters

Several powerful sculptures were commissioned for the park to illustrate the Civil Rights Movement events that happened here.
