ビガーの ゲストハウス

「グラスゴー観光が目的だったが、タクシー代は片道70ポンドも掛ったので、もっとグラスゴーに近いホテルを探すべきだった。」

「Decent stop with plenty of parking. Room was clean however walls were light and you could hear other people.」

「The room was lovely but the sink in the en-suite was tiny & hard to get a wash or clean your teeth in without getting water everywhere. The front of the sink unit was already water damaged. The shower was good & easy to use. The lady who greeted us was very helpful & friendly especially as we forgot to take our key out with us & had to ask her to let us in to our room. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for her. There was a good choice for breakfast which was cooked to order」

「Great stay. Derek and Rena were lovely hosts. Breakfast was great. Overall a very nice stay indeed.」

「A great location with Lovely staff:)」

「One thing to say it was like a back packers retreat !!! Everything was falling apart ! Back packers everywhere. No fridge or air con or fans in the room. No hot water for 3 days in my bathroom !!! No daily services so 1 towel was supposed to last me for 9 days !!! Photos in advert is not what it is when you get there either !!! Nice soft sofas are not at all what you get there !!! No tv in rooms either !! Place is falling apart !!! Do not book. They told me that Expedia has with...

「Arrived for 4pm check in called two different numbers no response on either , eventually got someone and got checked in at 5 pm place was freezing and was informed that the boiler was broken so no heating or hot water, place looked like it was decorated back in the 70's and never been touched since , was told to leave out door open and they'd put a heater in room for us which thankfully we didn't as was later told that place is used to home the homeless and immigrants so both our friends and...

「This was a great location for me to visit Galashiels. Its a lovely old manse building with nice clean big rooms and comfy beds. The owners of the guest house were on site, very friendly and welcoming. I had a sound night's sleep and woke to a lovely cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. I couldn't fault my stay. There is plenty parking but lots of free street parking nearby anyway so no issues there. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.」

「Amanda was very welcoming when we arrived and a bonus was the free onsite parking and close proximity to the university. It was just what we needed for the one night stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit dated, and the shower roof is on a slant so I managed to stand upright, just, but any taller and you would struggle. I did appreciate they had left a stool though so you could sit down and not bump your head if you wanted too. Amanda was very kind and apologised when I explained about it....

「The owner was very kind and helpful. I stayed on the first floor. He heped me to carry my heavy suitcase up to my room. The breakfast was great!

「Enjoyable three night break. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed , room cleaned every day and were allowed to park at the hotel next door. As previously mentioned they serve a great breakfast . Five minute drive to town centre but pub and takeaway nearby. Will book again next time that we visit Dumfries.」

「It was all over good but hotel was above the bar which was noisy at night and unpleasant for family stay. Water kittle was not cleaned properly. Towels were not sufficient. Main thing is hotel front desk was another side of the road in an Indian restaurant and restaurant get closed after 8 or 9 pm and no intercom in rooms . It was literally horrifying after getting dark.」

「This was a great value bed for the night. We were in Blantyre for a birthday party and this location was a convenient 10 minute walk from the station and 15 minute walk to the party menu. The room is very basic but has TV and coffee/tea available. The room is over a pub but the pub was closed when we returned from our event. For basic needs at a very fair price this is a good choice but would not suit people looking for Premier Inn style comfort.」
