"The pools were nice but they need resurfacing. The bottom of the big pool is really rough. Our room could have used some serious cleaning. The sliding doors leading out to the patio were quite dirty and they didn’t lock securely. The nightstand between the beds had sticky stuff all over it. The front of the fridge was also dirty. We had no hot water and the lamp in the suite part of turn room did not work. It’s a very dated hotel that is showing its age. "

"We have been traveling extensively for the last 30 years and this is one of our favorite places. Perfectly located in a great neighborhood, spacious, and airy and the backyard patio was perfect. We loved it so much that we booked it for six weeks next year already. It is close to the Mission Lakes Country Club with a pool and restaurant and with a quick easy ride into iconic Palm Springs. David was a perfect host and we highly recommend his home."

"We loved this spot! Perfect place for my partner and I to get away for a few days. Everything was very comfortable and the views were fabulous. Great location about midway between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. Was very peaceful, could spend every morning listening to the birds on the deck. And the landscaping and cactus/succulent collection were absolutely to die for! Would definitely stay again. "

"The property is nice and the backyard pool area was beautiful and relaxing. However, the check-in process to get the entrance code was frustrating; requiring a credit card for the deposit even though the deposit had already posted to my account the month before. The property wasn't as clean as it should've been and there were damages we noted, but they didn't effect our stay. The patio door did not latch and several attempts were made to fix it. Smoking is allowed outside, despite the listing stating smoking is not permitted. The host was very responsive and was unaware of some of these things, so I'm sure they are now being addressed. "

"Never found washer and dryer. Thought it was strange and made us feel uncomfortable that the property manager or other employee was waiting at the end of the driveway for us to leave at time of check out. "

"Neat house with mountain views which was great at sunset. Had all the amenities other than a dishwasher. Location was ok being fairly close to Joshua Tree, but not many places to take the dog for a walk. Would recommend for the price though"
