Room looked very nice. Everything was there as needed. Heater didn't work well in late November. Organization of the hotel meant you had to pass through several doors. Reception staff was great. Restaurant food was great.

Lulu Gulsmeden is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful but big city! The location is often too far out from most tourist attractions and there isn’t much shops etc on the same road. Staff were nice and friendly for the most part. Hotel was beautifully decorated and our family loft had a swing which was a nice surprise. I would stay here again!

It’s like a little soho in nyc. Loved the green philosophy at the hotel, upstairs guests should be reminded to keep windows shaded so room doesn’t overheat. Pls treat your cleaning staff better not once I saw a smile on their face nor welcomed the day appropriate greetings. Loved the breakfast buffet. I will definitely b back.

Nice and sustainable - good for kids!

We (2 adults, 2 kids 10 and 12) had a great stay at Lulu Guldsmeden. Potsdamer Strasse is a nice road close to Potsdamer Platz, bus and U-bahn. We liked the 4-bed room with two beds at the Attic. Breakfast was not included, but worthy and a nice buffé with something for everyone. The daily clearing of the room was perfect! The staff is also always very helpful with a smile! It is quiet between the rooms and even though there were other children and School classes staying at the same time, we slept peacefully. They do not offer lunch or dinner, but has a good bar in the evenings. I like their sustainable touch and can regimens it!

Hot and Noisy

We stayed in a large room with the family directly over the street. There’s no air conditioning so we had to sleep with the windows open and it was the loudest experience of any city I’ve ever been to. Sirens, yelling, buses, traffic, at one point we heard a huge fight break out in the middle of the night and another night we heard someone in so much distress we thought they were being murdered. Did not sleep a wink and need a vacation after that vacation.

Originelles Hotel im Altbau

Das Frühstück war doch sehr bescheiden für den Preis! Kaffeespezialitäten kosten extra. Die Betten waren extrem durchgelegen. Das personal war sehr nett und engagiert. Der Innenhof mit seinen Sitzgelegenheiten war sehr schön, störte aber nachts sehr bei relativ leisen Gesprächen.

Mysigt och annorlunda hotell

Ett utmärkt hotell med mysigt rum med loft. Perfekt för barnbarnet. Gungan i rummet uppskattades. Frukosten var otroligt dyr så det blev frukost på ett ställe 50 meter bort. Trafiken var störande men det får man räkna med i en storstad.

Mooi en zeer proper hotel. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kleine attenties tussen door wat het verblijf een extra touch gaf. Wij hadden een kamer voor vier. Zelf vonden we ze wat krap om er meerdere dagen te verblijven. Bagage kregen we moeilijk geplaatst voor vier.

Hatten leider ein Zimmer auf die Straße raus -daher Recht laut bei offenem Fenster. Keine Klimaanlage. Matratze müsste ausgetauscht werden! Ansonsten sehr nettes Konzept mit guten Pflegeprodukten im Bad. Schaukel und Klimmzugstange im Zimmer 😉

Skønt sted

Det var så fint et værelse og alt var så fint i et skønt kvarter. Det eneste at nævne var at der var meget støj fra gaden hele natten ( men kvarteret er et kvarter med masser af natteliv.) der var slået en flise af badeværelse fliserne i kanten til brusebadet, så en skrabede foden godt og grundigt. Værelset var mindre i virkeligheden end man forestillede sig men super fint indrettet. Hemsen er til børn/ teenagere. En større person ligger ikke så godt deroppe hvis der er varmt. Til os var det perfekt med to børn centralt i Berlin.

Fräscht hotell som bra utgångspunkt

Super rum för familjer, trappa upp för ett etage med sängar för barnen. Hotellet ligger bara gångavstånd till allt man behöver. Vi tyckte standarden var riktigt bra för att vara så bra beläget i förhållande till pris. Åker vi till Berlin igen så blir detta ett förstahandsval. Resterande av faciliteterna höll också hög nivå, fräscht och modernt.
