I was impressed by both the value and the service provided at this budget hotel. Martin checked us in and was friendly and hospitable even though we arrived so late. The room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The location is outstanding, with great restaurants, cafes, and metros nearby. Will definitely book the Ibis Budget Potsdamer Platz when I return to Berlin!

Businnes stay

Good accommodation with great staff. The AC was not working properly for the very hot days but nothing too hard to handle. Cleaning could be improved and the automatic beverages machine does not accept cards, just coins. Overall, the place is good.

Great location but the hotel is a bit of a dump. I think they tried to find things to justify the word ‘budget’ in the name such as decorating rooms like a hospital ward and providing pathetic tiny pillows and wafer thin duvets. Brilliant location though if you don’t intend to spend any time whatsoever in your room.

I'd rather not be above the bins

Good stuff: breakfast was quite good, room was clean and staff were mostly helpful Not so good: air con didn't really do anything and our room was directly above the bins which was extremely noisy from time to time. There was not much privacy for bathroom facilities.

The location was good. I recommend future customers look at room photos before booking. The room was clean but looked like I was in a hospital room. Staff was nice and the breakfast was good.

This would have been a higher rating except I felt like I was sleeping on a board. I paid quite a bit for this room so I think padding that felt like it was an inch thick was unfair. It would take a 1 night booking to put in a real mattress. I saw bad reviews on the hard bed but I thought they were picky - they weren’t - it was horrible. I would have canceled the 2nd night if I hadn’t gone through Expedia. I couldn’t even sightsee the next day because my back hurt so bad. People stay for the purpose of sleeping - the most important thing is a mattress - you don’t have to spend a lot money to get a mattress - this was more like padding.

Das Hotel war von der Lage super. Leider ist die Einrichtung nicht besonders neu und hat viele Macken. Leider komplett versagt haben Sie bei einer Nacht: Anscheinend hat ein Mitarbeiter seine Raucherpause bei mir im Zimmer gemacht. Ich kam abends in ein Zimmer voller Rauchgeruch zurück. Es hat eine Stunde gedauert mit offenem Fenster und ständigem Wedeln des Handtuchs bis man sich einigermaßen im Zimmer aufhalten konnte. Die Abendschicht an der Rezeption hat nur hilflos mit den Schultern gezuckt. Auf die Email, die ich schreiben sollte, hat niemand geantwortet. Als ich das Thema beim Checkouts nochmal angesprochen habe, wurde mir frech gesagt, dass das ja eine heftige Anschuldigung sei und ob ich denn Beweise hätte. Beim Hinweis auf die Mitarbeiterin und meine Email wurde wieder mit den Schultern gezuckt. Nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. Also beim Customer Service einmal komplett durchgefallen. So kann man sich auch die Kunden vergraulen.

Billigt och bra boende för övernattning

Ibis Budget Anhalter Bahnhof var ett bra hotell för den som vill ha ett lagom okej boende där målet är att sova, men inte mer än så. Inte jättemycket lyx, men ändå bra sängar och renlighet. Det enda jag tyckte var dåligt var frånvaro av ett nattduksbord eller liknande samt att närmaste eluttag vid sängen var lite för långt för borta för att kunna använda mobilen i sängen samtidigt som man laddade den. Mycket bra anpassat för rörelsehindrade och väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal! Nära till S-bahn och gångavstånd till Mitte (Brandenburger Tor och Checkpoint Charlie) och Potsdamer Platz.

L’accueil a vraiment était mauvais. La personne que nous a reçu était très désagréable et impoli. Nous sommes arrivés 30min avant avec un bébé, la chambre était prête mais aucune envie de nous laisser entrer. Sinon, la chambre était raisonnable, le sol un peu sale et glissant mais les draps étaient propres. Cet hôtel est cependant très bien situé et avec un bon prix. Le parking est aussi un plus (17€ par jour).
