「We should have booked for longer! What a beautiful, spacious, well-maintained property. The design details are gorgeous, so much thought has gone into the space. We enjoyed our time there immensely. Ruth was a fabulous and response host and we wanted for nothing. Local amenities (supermarkets, petrol station, takeaways) were great, we really should have spent longer! Property superb and all as listed with the owner extremely personable and attentive and could not do enough for us when we arrived late on a Sunday looking for dinner! We would have no hesitation in recommending this cosy cottage as a great base for your adventures in the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley and we look forward to returning again one day.」

「A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay」
