"Fantastic Villa, pool and host - nothing too much trouble."

"Beware that there is no shade by the pool between 11am and 3pm. Two umbrella stands supplied, both broken. Only one umbrella supplied. When asked for another one as per photos, nothing was provided. Due to this when did use the one umbrella supplied, husband got hit on the forehead by the umbrella spoke leaving a nasty gash on his head.We decided both umbrella stands were therefore unsafe to use. The lack of shade greatly affected our experience in the villa, especially with two children. Also beware on road noise due to location at top of hill on narrow bend resulting in vehicle horns blowing all the time. Would be nice if there were mosquito nets at all the doors and windows, not just some of them. All suffered heavily with bites."

"The pictures don’t even do this villa justice. Our large group could not have asked for a better home base from which to explore Gozo. The hot tub and pool were magical and we wish we could have spent more time just hanging out around the villa!The villa sits within Fort Chambray which is a residential development inside of an old fort on a cliff overlooking Mgarr Harbor. It’s easy to get from the harbor to the gates of the fort either by taxi or (for some of us) a quick ten minute walk up the hill. During the stay you will have two keys: one to the upper portion of the villa and one for the bottom portion. One of those keys includes a fob to open the gate to the fort. With a large group this could mean some logistical organizing to ensure people have access to open and close the gate as they come and go. Bolt rides from the villa to other attractions were cheap and not very long (Gozo is not a large island so everything is only a few minutes away).The team in charge of the villa was exceptionally responsive and provided a thorough virtual guidebook for the stay well in advance. Can’t recommend this place enough!"
