Thank you to the entire team at Solana Beach for making our family’s first visit to Mauritius a memorable one with wonderful hospitality. We travel often and the one thing that always stands out is how the people treat treat us during our visit and in Mauritius everyone did an amazing job of looking after us. Some names to highlight for going the extra mile include Premilah from housekeeping, Valerie in the Cocobar, Domenic in the main restaurant, Ashi in reception, Gregory and Ricardo in the water sports area……plus there were many others. Also a thank you to Paz the F&B manager for taking the time to ask for our feedback and input. I would highly recommend Solana Beach to my friends and family and thank you again to the entire team for a holiday of a lifetime.

I had a wonderful experience at Solana Beach. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly — they made me feel at home straight away. The hotel surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade, and I was blown away by how spacious and comfortable the room was. It had everything I needed and more, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy my stay. The pool area is a highlight — large, clean, and with a perfect atmosphere whether you want to chill out with a cocktail or go for a proper swim. Food-wise, Solana delivers. The restaurant options are varied, with something for everyone, and the quality was consistently excellent. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always a fresh and tasty choice. Overall, Solana Beach gave me the mix of relaxation, service, and quality that makes for a truly memorable holiday. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Mauritius — and I’d definitely return!

Absolutely loved our stay at Solana Beach Hotel! The staff is just fantastic, friendly and very attentive! Only suggestions are to have more bins around to leave rubbish and the toilet would benefit a fresh coat of paint.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, they were all fantastic, attentive, friendly and genuinely cared. They looked happy and smiling all the time. Our rooms, booked 4 rooms, were spotless, beautiful and very comfortable. Housekeeper did a fantastic job through our stay. The activities were OK. The night entertainment should be better. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Solana Beach Hotel.

Solana Beach Hotel is a beautiful property with staff that go above and beyond to give you a comfortable and enjoyable stay. To start with the rooms are modern, clean and vibrant with the most incredible ocean views. From the reception team, the restaurant team and in particular the house keepers - they could not be more attentive. I would highly recommend a stay st Solana Beach Hotel.

Fab location,majority of staff were pleasant.Property while fine,could really do with a bit of a revamp/renovation.strange system of having to sign random receipts even when all-inclusive(no bands?).Request if a late check out from 11am-2pm was met with a ‘nominal charge’ of 110€,even though we were already entitled to all inclusive until 3pm (and property was certainly less than 50% occupied),really let them down imo,and wouldn’t endear me to book again I’m afraid

Had a great stay at Solana, friendly staff and good food. We didn’t have all inclusive and it was a bit confusing from time to time when ordering food and drinks. Rooms are nice decorated and comfortable. Pool area was great and the beach is so nice! Can highly recomend this place!

Pleasant hotel with excellent service. We have no complaints about the room, it was big and the bed was big and comfy. Private beach and the pool were beautiful. We as a couple didn't like the buffet style dinner so much, even though the food was good, the dessert was a disappointment.

Rooms in poor condition air conditioning very noisy,floor around the toilet rotten making it wobble all in all very tired. Paid for 8 days only stayed 7 asked for late check out wanted to charge another day still not heard back from Expedia as was told to contact agent about the extra day refund hotel couldn’t sort it apparently. The staff were very nice all the time they could try to sell you a special menu evening any other time adequate. From our experience I would not recommend but you could get lucky

We have spent 7 beautiful days at solana beach. If you are looking for somewhere quiet with great sea view rooms and beautiful sea, solana it the right place for you. The Staff has been friendly and helpful to other all our requests. It has been a pleasure. The buffet was also good, with different style of food every night. Thank you

Cannot fault the staff and service. As a small hotel there was only one restaurant, however was a really good selection. Public transport from the hotel was non existent, however taxis were readily available, and no shops or restaurants etc near by. A small town wasn’t far away in a taxi. I appreciate this ain’t the fault of the hotel!

We had a lovely stay at Solana! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They organized a candlelight dinner at the gazebo by the beach for us which was a wonderful experience! Clean room with an amazing view. But as most hotels, the bed was a bit too hard for our taste. Food at the buffet is varied and tasty. But if you want better seafood you have to book for a la carte and pay a little extra, even with the all inclusive package. Perfect place if you just want some peace and quiet to relax. But if you want to explore the island and have excursions I would rather recommend a hotel on the west coast. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

A NICE HOTEL IN A BEAUTY AREA

Although the hotel required general maintenance, the rooms, common areas, and beach were impeccably clean. With all rooms boasting sea views and the beach itself being pristine, it provided an idyllic setting. Moreover, the sea was crystal clear, making it perfect for snorkeling. However, the main restaurant and open buffet would benefit from improved hygiene practices among both staff and guests. Would I return? Why not…
