Nice hotel, but bad location

In Beijing for business and my local colleague recommended the hotel. Got upgraded to a suite and the room was gorgeous. Throughout the stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the hotel amenities. I’m glad that the room I booked came with the use of the lounge. It solved most of my meals in those few days as the location of the hotel was not ideal. There’s was no shopping malls or food options in the immediate surrounding, making the hotel fairly isolated. My room though big, was facing the train tracks. Being a light sleeper, I couldn’t sleep for the few nights as the sound from the moving trains were loud throughout the day, and late into the nights. The sound proofing of the room devotedly needs improving as apart from the train, I kept hearing noises from other rooms often.

I stayed one night here (upgraded to a suite room). Woke up in the middle of the night around 3am itching all over. I thought it was mosquito but no… something in the bed sheets caused me to have severe hives for the next 24 hours. I switched to another hotel and now the hives are gone.

Super dejligt hotel! Det lå fint for os! Nemt og billigt at komme til centrum med taxa! Morgenmad var dog lidt dyr!

不错的酒店。早餐丰富，咖啡也好喝。泳池，桑拿的条件也很不错，还有个蒸汽室。所有服务员的职业素质都很高。酒店里的云南餐厅也很不错。

Gehobener Standard mit leichten Verschleisserscheinungen der Zimmerausstattung. Lage des Hotels etwas nicht so praktisch. Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig aber es kommt vor das man Speisen vom Vortag wieder am Buffet vorfindet. Beim halben Brotlaib noch ok aber bei Wurstscheiben schon nicht mehr appetitlich. Insgesamt aber dennoch ein gutes Hotel

除了酒店位置离地铁站比较远以外，其它都挺好。房间够宽敞、早餐够丰富、室内泳池有25米长，也够大。

Solid 8/10

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The service was great and any issues I had were resolved quickly. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious and had everything you could ever need. Complimentary bottled water was very much appreciated. The housekeeping was lovely - one of them even folded my clothes neatly. My bathroom flooded when I first used the shower but it was quickly fixed and cleaned by the staff. The only thing I could complain about was the design of the room. Because there was a window pane and a large desk blocking the window, it was very hard for me to open/close the window and blinds. I had to climb up on the desk so I could reach the handle and curtains.(see photo) I ordered takeout a few times and had to go downstairs to the lobby to get it - delivery drivers weren't allowed up (which is understandable) and the hotel staff didn't do deliveries, unfortunately. This was a minor thing but would've been nice not having to go downstairs every time. I used the gym during my stay and it was nice and clean. There were free weights which is quite rare for a hotel. I really appreciated the cold towels from the mini fridge - it was a nice way to cool down during the workout. All the machines were for upper body though - would've been nice to have some lower body machines too.
