「Barbara's chalet was amazing! The view from the the porch is breathtaking. Barbara and her husband were extremely friendly and attentive. We stayed in the chalet for 4 weeks and loved every minute of it! The walk up from the train station is pretty steep and was quite the cardio workout, but after a few days we got the hang of it. The chalet is off the beaten path and has very little vehicle traffic so it was a very peaceful vacation. We loved every minute of it!」

「Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen, Lage war top, leider viel Schneefall, aber haben wir auch nochmals genossen:). Leider, hatten wir noch Komplikationen mit dem WC. Aber der Sanitär konnte das Problem beheben. Sauberkeit, könnte hygienischer sein, auch der Schlüsseltresor( klemmt) mal anschauen. Tip, für deutschsprachige Gäste einen Ordner mit wichtigen Telefonnummern aus der Region inkl. Inhaberin auflegen. Wir fühlten uns aber für die Gesamtbewertung wohl👍」

Besonders hervorzuheben ist der leckere Käse aus eigener Herstellung und ein unvorstellbarer glasklarer Sternenhimmel. Vielen Dank」

「Wir haben während unseres Skiurlaubs nach den Weihnachtstagen in der Ferienwohnung gewohnt. Das historische Holzhaus mit Kaminofen bietet ein sehr uriges und gemütliches Ambiente. Die Wohnung ist umfangreich ausgestattet. Als wir dennoch etwas benötigten, hat sich die sehr herzliche Vermieterin sofort darum gekümmert. Wir haben eine schöne Zeit verlebt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.」

「Beautiful apartment in a great chalet building, less than 10mins walk from Grindelwald train station. Epic views of the mountains from the large balcony, it was hard to stop looking out of the windows. The apartment was very well equipped and decorated. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Cosy living space, perfect for relaxing after a long day’s hiking.」

「Very clean, as described, perfect view of Eiger. Very quiet. It is very far from town. Bus station is down the road but bus service stops at 7 pm It’s on a steep hill, no problem for us but should be considered. Didn’t feel kitchen was well-stocked: no frying pan, no salt/pepper. Make sure to stock up on basics like coffee pods and oil for cooking.」

「A group of five of us enjoyed eight days at Snow Flake, and the apartment was wonderful. It was every bit as beautiful as the pictures and very well accommodated with every tool we needed in the kitchen. Our host, D, was available for any questions and very willing to go the extra mile as we asked questions up front. Get the Bernese Oberland travel pass and all public transportation will be available to you for use to reach thousands of hiking trails right outside your door to explore this...

「Wir genossen den Blick ins Rhone-Tal und auf die Fiescher-Alp, hatten Spass auf der Piste und ruhige Abende in der Wohnung, wo wir mit der tollen Austattung kochen konnten, am Sofa Brettspiele spielen konnten oder auch einfach ein Glas Wein geniessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüsse」

「The accommodation was satisfactory but looking out onto a very nearby wall, the room was gloomy and dark. All accommodation in Grindelwald is very expensive and this was priced at the low budget end. Seems if you want a room with half-decent view you have to pay a lot more.」
