"This is a lovely secluded home located within minutes of the city of Des Moines. The home is thoughtfully stocked and clean. There’s a fabulous view of a wooded area dripping with birds. We appreciated our quiet family time together. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. Ame and her husband were so welcoming. Five star property! Five star hosts!"

"Excellent experience!! Check in was easy. The house was clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. The beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding. There are 4 bedrooms, master with a king bed, one with a full bed, another with a queen/double bed, and the 4th with 2 bunk beds. The trampoline was a hit with the kids and there were toys availalbe to keep them busy. The deck area was cozy with a great ambience. We would definitely stay here again! "

"The property is fairly new and had all the necessary basics. We had to buy small things such as facial tissues and paper towels, although we later found paper towels stored in an out-of-the-way place. The two car garage had many things stored on one side, so that only one side could be used for a car. We had two cars. There was no remote to open the garage door, so we had to enter the house and open the garage door from the inside. We decided after the first day to just park both cars in the driveway. The outside trash can was full from previous guests, and we were given no instructions on when to put it out for pickup. We couldn't put our own full trash bags in it when we left. We had trouble with the front door combination initially, but once we figured it out, it was fine. So all the major things were good, but there were smaller things that were lacking. All bedrooms are upstairs, so there are stairs to climb everyday and suitcases that must be carried up and down. That might not be feasible for some guests. Overall, it was a good stay, but not a great one."
