The area around Beatenberg offers numerous child-friendly attractions, such as the Beatus Trail, Beatus Caves, hiking, biking and scooter-biking trails as well as wonderful viewing points of the Bernese Alpine peaks with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The special atmospheric conditions offer a very special experience for paragliders and delta sailors when they take off from the Niederhorn and are carried to the plain between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.
