"We enjoyed celebrating our son's 30th birthday at the cabin. The cabin and treehouse are beautifully properties in a beautiful area. We enjoyed seeing a mother moose and her baby walk passed the window.Brian was a pleasure to work with and responded quickly.The treasure hunt in the cabin was one of the high lights of the trip. It was a well-planned and mind engaging experience. Imagine an escape room experience spread between the cabin and tree house. The difference is that you can relax, enjoy everyone's company and not feel like you are trapped in a room. Brian did a great job on planning the experience.I would rank this as my best VRBO experience to date.Great job, Brian."

"This place is just awesome! It's right in the middle of town, walkable to restaurants and shops, a 5 minute drive from Winter Park, and a perfect blend of modern chic and winter coziness. John is such a welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable host who made us feel right at home! The common areas include a bar serving beers, cocktails, and snacks (all delicious local brands) and a hot tub on the second floor outdoor terrace overlooking the front of the property. Our room - the Bear - was spacious, sparkling clean, and perfectly decorated. It has a large walk-in closet, his/her sinks, a soaking tub (plus separate shower), a mini-fridge, modern fixtures, and high-tech everything - including a sound machine! It can be rare these days to find family-owned properties with proprietors who clearly love what they do and take such pride in creating 'a home away from home' for us weary travelers. Winter Park Chateau is such a gem, and we can't wait to come back!"
