「The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Liked the table and chairs. Shower was great plenty of power and hot water. Loved the lounge and the fact that there were wine glasses. BREA」

「The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.」

「Great location but hotel tired and in need of upgrade. Staff friendly and work hard but under staffed at breakfast. Booking in at to wait as no one at reception (4 in afternoon) breakfast on second day was a fiasco and people got up and walked out. I am afraid I won’t be returning as it stands」

「It was a great stop on the Norfolk coast. The beach was literally down the pathway. The staff were so lovely and friendly and the room had everything we needed in it. The bed was crazily comfortable, I'm missing it already. Breakfast was superb!! We'd stay again any day. Good to have a bar and entertainment on too!」

「Minus:) carpets in the corridors where filthy, there was an unpleasant smell . Found cobwebs in the corners of the room out of reach. Good :) the bed was comfortable kitchen was good.」

「Great stay a the Stag - bar staff were excellent and the food was absolutely fantastic . Rooms were spacious and really really clean and comfortable with comfy beds and great bathrooms . Parking was really easy and the welcome was superb . 」

「Easy check in taken to room which had everything you need very clean, tidy and modern. By the looks of the room it had recently been decorated and perhaps updated been done very nicely. All staff were pleasant and helpful. We had a meal early evening, four of us, different choices and we all enjoyed our meals. Breakfast in the morning was good with a nice choice. Nice garden area with lots of space and tables overlooking the broads, ideal location. Would definitely recommend staying here.」

「The carpet in our room was so old and in places appeared to be mouldy… we had a tiny basin in the room (and no basin in the en-suite) which was partially overhung by a shelf that made it very difficult to use properly and was likely the cause of the mould in front of it. Our ‘en-suite’ was cramped and the shower cubicle had mould in the sealant and grout. The extractor fan did not work and therefore the bathroom and bedroom felt and smelled damp when we returned after a day out- it was 26...

「We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. There is no bathroom, you have to share the one on the 2nd...
