The room was very warm even with the windows open as it was at the top of the property. A room fan was provided but it meant that there was a constant noise when it was on. The breakfast was really nice.

My wife and myself would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the staff who were very polite courteous and couldn’t do enough for us they are a credit to the hotel the chef was amazing from breakfast to dinner apart from having an issue climbing stairs to 3rd floor the stay was still excellent

Great location and super friendly & helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Restaurant had air-con which was lovely on a hot day. Well decorated throughout. Would highly recommend.

Room was very small and didn’t look like what was advertised! Toilet seat was broken and the room was very hot as it was on the 3rd floor and my room also smelt of fish as the kitchen was below my room! Breakfast was nice! Won’t stay there again as the room isn’t worth the money and there isn’t enough parking for the hotel guests so I had to pay extra for parking!

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel and honestly couldn’t fault it! The hotel itself is lovely, and our room was fantastic — really spacious, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. We were lucky enough to be on the top floor, with a brilliant view across Great Yarmouth. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the shower was hot with fantastic water pressure for being on the top floor, and the big, white, fluffy towels were a lovely touch. The room also had a dressing table, kettle with tea and coffee, and a fridge, which was really convenient. One of the best things was how quiet the room was at night. We had an absolutely brilliant night’s sleep, which made our stay even better. The staff were amazing — so friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really made us feel welcome. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. A lovely hotel, brilliant room, great views and amazing staff. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and very welcoming when we arrived. The staff were amazing and even when I called them to inform them about my wife's birthday, they were able to decorate the room for us for her surprise. Breakfast was always awesome and I love everything I tried. We really did enjoy ourselves and it was a brilliant holiday.

An absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Ocean. Such a lovely hotel, clean, modern and very well located on the sea front. Breakfast was really good with a great choice. My fave was the fresh fruit salad, the yogurt & compote so tasty. Although the sausages with the full English were good too! We cannot wait to go back.
