"Peaceful and secluded location outside San Pedro. If you are a self sufficient traveler and prefer to stay away from the city and lots of people this is the best place! The staff are outstanding, so kind and helpful. Don't let the distance from San Pedro discourage you. Rent a golf cart and embrace living like a local to drive the bumpy dirt road to/from the resort. My partner and I plan our vacations around locations we can access good shore/beach fishing from and this place is perfect for that. We would absolutely come back!"

Stunning Beachfront Villa Azul with Private Staff

"I found this vila on VRBO and it looked stunning. Unfortunately the beach part was very mucky and filled with seaweed but we still enjoyed the pier and the beach area. The staff made sure they were there for our every need. If we asked for anything it was done and done quickly. Sadly our porch fan and light didn’t work but it didn’t break our good time. They had a few nice gifts for me for my birthday and the villa itself was very nice and was very clean. Unfortunately the cleaning lady didn’t keep supplies stocked and we ran out of toilet paper and paper towels which should not have happened since she came in every day. She made an awesome fresh salsa though!!! We reserved a chef through ALOM and unfortunately didn’t have the best experience with this chef but after speaking with them about our issues they were apologetic and said they would be addressing the chef! Any time we needed to get somewhere or wanted to go to a diff place they made sure we were picked up on time, taken to where we needed to go on time and made it an easy travel experience. If it wasn’t for them we definitely would have been lost. Terri the concierge, was extremely nice and extremely helpful any time we needed something or had any questions. She took care of it quickly but by the end of the wk it seemed as though we may have annoyed her a little by her responses and she didn’t say anything like good bye or anything when she escorted us back to the Ferry. Not a big deal but would have been nice seeing she was extremely nice all wk. we dealt with a lot of mosquitos but the staff on the property made sure there was smoke to keep most of them away. While there were a few minor issues, it didn’t sway our amazing time we had. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this place as I am sure those issues will be addressed and whoever stays will be taken care of 💯 Thank you AlOM for making our experience so memorable."

The only thing I could possibly say something about the meals may have not been proportionate enough for 5 hungry dudes haha and maybe that's an us problem but we had an amazing time and will be back thank yall for everything"

"This place is the ultimate place in san Pedro for a solid relax and rest vacation. I found sand and sky on Expedia after looking for a peaceful location outside of town. It consists of just 6 caisitas on the beach and because of that, the quality and hospitality is truly next level. The room itself is not only visually stunning on the outside but it's cozy on the inside. A comfortable bed, beautiful sun lit shower, and it's extremely clean !!! The owner Ronna went above and beyond when it came to all of the details. We had a pot of coffee every morning along with freshly baked pastries ( she's talented ) and fruit. It's just enough to get you ready to start your day. She went above and beyond with all of the details ( makeup towels, Turkish towels for the beach, golf cart waiting for us at the resort , recommendations for the best restaurants for local delicious food ) She's also saved my birthday celebration after I almost made a very silly mistake. The goal for the day was to snorkel and see a sea turtle. She made a quick phone call and we were able to get into a company ( and yes I saw the sea turtle 🐢❤️) Watching the stars at night while in bed and waking up gently to the sun each morning was the cherry on top. I'm back home and feel regulated and rested. Thank you Ronna for your hospitality ( from your fellow Canadian)"

"North Beach Retreat is the perfect hidden gem on Ambergris Caye. A modest resort that is ideal for those looking for a quieter and relaxing stay outside of the bustling town of San Pedro. The private beach, starlit sky, and close proximity to neighbouring resorts and restaurants provide the perfect balance of remote and convenience. However, the true heart of North Beach are the property caretakers Yvonne & Norman. They welcome you like family and provide an experience that surpassed my expectation. They pour so much love and care into the resort and do not hesitate to tend to the needs of their guests. Whether it was breakfast in bed, fresh coconut water, or showing you local spots in town, my first solo trip was one I will never forget!"

From the caretaker Luis to an amazing chef Dominic and all the way to property management of Brittany and Keelan… I definitely had tons of communication with them back-and-forth and everything went smoothly! We are so thankful we found this property and had such an amazing time with our family!"

"The property was lovely. Staff was great. The resort wasn’t staffed very well. They were short and it made the restaurant in the bar, not be open for a lot of the time and things close down. It could be due to later in the season and it was a lot farther than we anticipated from the main area other than that, it was wonderful perhaps earlier in the season it would be a little bit better. We would go back if that were the case. "
