"Beautifully decorated small bedroom with small bath. Was perfect for a solo traveler but would be tight for 2 adults. While small refrigerator, microwave and toaster were provided there were no dishes with the exception of two coffee mugs and some paper plates and plastic utensils. The golf cart was great to get around. And the outdoor deck was amazing. The location is good with close by restaurants and shopping. The room over looks the boat yachts and masts. All in all a great place to stay, but expensive for the space size."

"Beautiful home and pool, lovely finishes and cabinetry, very well stocked kitchen supplies. The two large primary suites were for our 2 couples travelling with their babies and they were wonderful rooms. That left the other two bedrooms (in the crofter) for the grandparents and another adult couple. With the crofter beds pushed against the side wall of the bedroom and only one nightstand in those rooms, the crofter bedrooms were a little tight for 4 adults.The main house does have a couple steps between several areas which might not be great for toddlers or elderly. We LOVED the outdoor terrace and pool and used it a lot! The mid-island location was super convenient, the property manager was very responsive with small glitches (normal stuff), and we enjoyed the architecture of the home and its art. "

"Check-in was easy, cottage was very clean and staff were easily accessible for any questions. I was a little worried that staying on the marina, I might hear a lot of noise - the ferry/boats or people dining outside. I heard nothing except a few very faint ferry horns. The kitchen was great with a little fridge & freezer, toaster oven and microwave. A perfect little getaway spot! "

"Awesome 1week stay at “Life on the Sea”!! A perfect fit for our family of 12 (grandparents, parents & kids) All was spotless and kitchen was well appointed (excellent appliances) to make cooking for our group very easy. Appreciated the beach chairs, beach carts & boogie board. (Even a life jacket for the youngest!). Would definitely stay there again!!! "

"Perfect location for a family trip to bald head. Our kids could walk everywhere and if they didn’t want to walk, there were bikes provided that they could ride. The house has a great kitchen/family room and an adorable bunk room for kids to sleep in. Our teen daughter loved having her own space in the crofter. We loved our stay here!"
