「We were visiting Ushaw House and this cottage is perfect location for there, Durham and surround area. Great shower, comfy bed. Easy parking outside your door. Lovely village and great pub. The Bay Horse. Thanks to John the owner for the recommendation 」

「We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The Bothy was perfectly decorated and set up for a wonderful stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. We could not have asked for a better spot to stay.」

「Comfortable cottage though could do with an upgrade in kitchen , a little shabby , ideal location with plenty walks on the door step . We enjoyed our stay . Scenery stunning , plenty of places to eat out . Great cottage for walkers , maybe not family with kids due to stairs!」
