If you bring a dog and take it walking, beware that there are some big menacing dogs behind some inadequate fencing in the area (not talking about the ones right across the street).We stayed in an upstairs unit. "Older dated property. Large Weeds in outside beds. Lobby orderly and clean. staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. Room clean, orderly but dated and a bit beat up with a bit of a musty smell. Comfy bed and warm shower Hot coffee ready to go first thing in the morning."

"Hotel only open 2 weeks so everything is new. My biggest complaints are one of the elevators was not working, long wait to ride; ice maker on every other floor, one on the first floor not working. I also wanted to take breakfast to my room, no trays to carry several items. Otherwise every thing else was perfect!"

"Though the building and the decor are older, this little slice of tranquility had the most important element in a hotel/motel—CLEANLINESS!!!!!!! The unit and all public areas were immaculate!! Clean! Clean! Clean! And with pride. The staff there had tastefully made this little hotel absolutely charming with its quirkiness. For example, breakfast was the basics—yogurt, fruit, bread, and breakfast bars. No problem. If I want Waffle House, I will go there. However, every inch of this place was spotless. The breakfast area was like an operating room. It had a great and simple collection. It was delightful. The staff even provided snacks readily available, modestly priced, and paid for with the honor system. A quaint feature that probably exists in few places. I didn’t want to leave. In fact, I would like to live there. A little out of the way if you are visiting the National Park, but so worth the drive. Best little hotel experience I have ever had. "

"The views were impressive and the place was clean with a great layout that worked for our family. Our kids enjoyed the mushroom trail. It was very easy to check in and all information about the property and surrounding area was easy to find. Great place to stay!"

"The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom needed some help. The tub looked dirty, but I think it was just stained. At check in they had mentioned that they were doing some renovating. Once suggestion I thought would be to replace the tubs with shower stalls. Overall, I would stay there again."
